A landscape painter need never be short of inspiration in Scotland, such is the variety of its scenery - even aside from the dramas of the Highland mountains and glens. Much of my painting is inspired by the gentler but no less picturesque landscapes of Dumfries and Galloway, in the south west. (Note: the pictures shown are not to scale).
